Christmas Party 2018

On Wednesday we held our Christmas Party in the Indoor School which had been turned into a magical, Christmas grotto. A large Christmas tree, fairy lights, tinsel and every conceivable Christmas decoration adorned the building which was full of children and laughter.

After a Nativity play, the boys and girls enjoyed fun and games and were each given a rosette by our Guest of Honour Jasmine Kendall. Mrs Kendall is an inspiration to us all. She is a lady of a certain age, ending in a zero, not eighty and not one hundred, and was one of our original volunteers when we worked out of Rogers` Riding School.

Two cheques were presented to Jean Bedford, both from local groups who are regular and loyal supporters. One from the Aesopian Society from John O`Gaunt Golf Club for £2,015 , represented by Ian Billington and Barrie Fitzpatrick, and one from Mervyn Askew and Nick Eagle who are connected to vintage cars. We wish to say a special thanks to both these groups for their continued and enduring support

Santa Clause was also given a gift by one of our regular Bedford School Boy Volunteers
