BDHRA hosted a BBPCF Event on Saturday 18th July a Fun with the Ponies. This was a time when families could come together and 30 children had a fun and relaxed time meeting, grooming, and walking our ponies in our outdoor school and enjoying activities in our beautiful grounds the 30 children including SEND children and their siblings particularly enjoyed the treasure hunt. This year`s fete was held on a glorious summer`s day and we were able to make the most of our outside space. The pony rides were once again as popular as ever, and the two new games `Whack the Rat` and `Flying Chicken` were enjoyed by both children and adults. Inside the visitors were able to try their luck at our tombola, buy a second hand book or look through our White Elephant stall. The YFC Rally attracted record crowds, over 6,000 people visited and enjoyed the day with plenty of interesting things to see and do including our stand whose main attraction was Coco, our pony. On a crisp and sunny day in December, we had our Christmas Party. Our guest of honour this year was Camilla King (High Sheriff of Bedfordshire) who welcomed our guests with a lively and lovely speech assisted by one of our Trustees, Nick Kier.
