Kate Parish

BDHRA finished this academic year with a visit from local girl Kate Parrish who raised £5,000 for BDHRA by cycling 870 miles from north to south of France in just 10 days. Kate, a vet has close family connections with BDHRA, with her Auntie Gill and her Uncle John being highly active BDHRA volunteers and her cousin's daughter benefiting from the charity. Kate enjoyed seeing the impact that BDHRA has and particularly how the children react so positively with the ponies, much fun was had as our volunteers organized a mini pony sports day. BDHRA are incredibly grateful for Kate's huge achievement, for choosing us as her charity,which along with funds from our BDHRA summer fete have contributed a quarter of its annual running costs. Thank you once more to Kate and our Volunteers and have a wonderful summer holiday.
