Bedford at Work Exhibition

Coming shortly to Bedford is an exhibition mounted by David Lewry, a local artist who has produced 36 hand-drawn coloured pencil portraits celebrating the working people of Bedford. This includes our very own Jean Bedford and Jean Mainstone a teacher from Bedford School who accompanied the Bedford School boys who actively helped us as volunteers on a Wednesday afternoon.

David has kindly agreed to include a short summary of what we do at BDHRA and to host a donation box for us. Any support would be most welcome.

The exhibition will be held at the Basement Gallery in the John Bunyan Museum, Mill Street, Bedford MK40 3EU. It is open to the general public from Tuesday 28th October until Saturday 1st November from 11 am to 4 pm each day. Admission is free.
