Sue Gillard receiving most improved rider sheild from Honoured Guest, Judith Howard and our own Christmas Pixie, Jean Bedford

Every year we put on a party for friends who support our Riding Centre throughout the year.

The local school children from Willington CP also join us and watch the pageant and see the youngsters dressed up as angels, shepherds, Mary, Joseph and the donkey with the three kings riding high on their beautiful horses in matching royal silks. It is a moving scene and one that the school children from the lower school look forward to each year especially because they are able to let off steam in the spacious barn with some exiting games alongside the children from the special needs schools.

Members of the audience also join in a favourite game of pass the pudding when they might be lucky and win a chocolate! After some presentations it is time for the moment they have all be waiting for - the visit from the man in red. None of the children go without, including one excited four year old who was rewarded with a flashing Santa straw. After the show there is lunch for all from tables loaded with food to tuck into as everyone waits to see if they have been lucky in the raffle.
