Finally, a proper Christmas Party on a brilliantly cold day guaranteed to evoke festive feelings. Children who ride with us from Ivel Valley, St Johns, The Grange and Ridgeway attended as well as children from Willington CP school.
GDPR regs prohibit me from photographing children but i can tell you they had a lovely time. Santa joined us with a Merry Elf and every child got a present.
Our guest of honour Mrs Margaret Ibbett gave out rosettes and presents and everyone got into the Christmas spirit playing pass the Christmas Pudding and other party games.
We were presented with various cheques notably one from the Kilroy Family who are staunch supporters and also one from the Aesopian Golf society, golfers from the John O`Gaunt Golf Club. Not only did they raise money for us but their outgoing Chairman, Me Les Bolland, nominated us to fellow golfers to receive donations on our online giving page instad of receiving a present.
A big shout out to the Aesopians and especially Mr Les Bolland.
