We held our summer fete on a rather typical British summer day and raised over £3,200. There were various stalls; one selling cakes, a tombola, ice creams, games, horse riding and a very well supported raffle. We were lucky enough to get Kevin Whately as our opener again this year and one of our regular riders Luke presented him with his opener`s gift. Kevin Whately spent the entire afternoon with us, mingling with everyone and taking a genuine interest in what we have been doing. He noticed that some changes have taken place since his last visit and asked if he could come back again. In fact, it`s in his diary for five years` time.!
