Our Christmas Party is one of the highlights of our year and we were very pleased to have Mrs Nielsen of the Anders Foundation to present our prizes and rosettes. This year we used the Anders` donation to buy a new horse called `Cash`, a nineteen year old Irish Sports horse whose full name is Cash Point. Cash is a fifteen hands skewbald pony hand and has proved popular with our riders.
The Anders Foundation was formed as a legacy to Mrs Neilsen`s son Anders who sadly lost his life to cancer in 2010. Anders followed in his mother`s footsteps in becoming a rather good Badminton player ...... An England International, England National Champion and British Olympian. With these memorable achievements in mind the `Anders Foundation` was formed. Their aim is to encourage young people of all abilities to achieve their sporting goals.
We are very fortunate to receive regular donations from this fund.
